More Than a Game — What We’re Building at Liverpool Disc Golf

We’re not just setting up baskets and throwing discs around a park.

That’s the easy part.

What we’re building is something bigger—and if you’ve been down, you’ve probably felt it already.

A place people can just turn up

No barriers. No awkwardness.

You don’t need:

  • Experience

  • Equipment

  • Or to know anyone

You can just arrive—and within minutes, you’re part of it.

That matters more than people realise.

A different kind of community

Not forced. Not cliquey. Not intimidating.

Just:

  • People chatting on the walk between holes

  • Helping each other find discs in the trees

  • Celebrating each other’s good shots

It grows naturally because it’s genuine.

Something Liverpool-shaped

This isn’t a copy-and-paste club.

It’s got that Liverpool feel:

  • Friendly

  • Honest

  • A bit chaotic in the best way

  • And always up for a laugh

That’s what makes people come back.

Why growth matters to us

We want more people to find this.

Not just to grow numbers—but because:

  • It’s good for your head

  • It gets you outside

  • It connects you with people you wouldn’t normally meet

The more people who experience that, the better. Our aim is to get a permanent course in the ground, here. It’s our place, our vibe, our thing. And you’re part of it.

Where it’s going

More sessions.
More events.
Bigger tournaments.
More people who feel like this is their thing.

That’s the aim.

And where you come in

If you’re reading this and thinking:
“I might give that a go”

That’s literally how it starts.

👉 Come down. Wednesdays. 6pm-8pm. Bring a mate, or don’t. Either way—you’ll leave knowing people.
